Terms and Conditions

The terms and conditions of the letting of the property as agreed by both parties are as follows:
The person making the booking (“you”) will be liable and responsible for the conduct of all guests.
The premises are let to you for holiday purposes only for the period stated on the confirmation email and for the maximum persons of the booking.

Rates/Tariffs

All tariffs are quoted in Australian Dollars.

Tariffs are for 4 persons only.  The home has luxury accommodation for up to 8 people upon payment of additional fees described in the Rates table.

Deposits & Payments

A deposit of 50% of total booking is to be paid immediately by credit card to secure a booking.
We accept VISA, MASTERCARD, AMEX and DINERS

Full payment is due 14 days prior to arrival date. If payment is not received by this date we will endeavor to contact you on the telephone or email address you provide. If we have not received payment within 10 days prior to arrival date the booking will be considered as cancelled. Full payment for the Christmas holiday peak season is required before 30 November or the booking will be considered as cancelled.

Cancellation, Transfers, Refunds and Security bonds

The deposit is refundable, less a $50.00 administration fee if a cancellation or transfer is more than 14 days prior to arrival date. If less than 14 days from arrival date we will endeavor to rebook the accommodation. If successful, the full payment/deposit will be refunded less a $50 administration levy. For the Christmas holiday peak season, the full amount of monies paid will be forfeited for cancellations after 30 November.

Arrivals and Departures

The property is available from 3pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated no later than 10am on the day of departure unless prior arrangement is made.
Access to the home is with an electronic pass that will be mailed to your postal address 7 days prior to your arrival. Alternative arrangements to collect the pass can be made through email or telephone contact with the property manager. This pass will operate only for the period of your letting.

We will arrange for our Host/Hostess representative to meet you on arrival at the property to assist you with operating and understanding all the features of the property. If you are in need of assistance at any time in relation to the property after arrival, we will arrange for the Host/Hostess to assist you.  

Upon departure, the property must be left secure, with all doors locked and windows closed. You will be provided with a return mail envelope for return of the electronic pass. Failure to return the pass will incur a $50 replacement fee.

Minimum Night Bookings

2 Nights – weekends
3 Nights - long weekends.
7 Nights - Christmas Holiday peak, between Christmas and Australia Day

Linen

The property is let with sheets, doonas, towels and tea towels. Replacement charges for missing linen and excessive laundering costs will be made or deducted from the security bond.

Smoking

There is a very strict no smoking policy inside the luxury accommodation. Extra cleaning charges will be made if smoking occurs inside.

Use of the Property

The property is in a residential area and regard must be paid to the quiet enjoyment of neighboring properties. The use of the property for illegal purposes is strictly prohibited and excessive noise will not be tolerated.

Visitors

Guests are welcome to have visitors. You will be responsible for the conduct and activities of visitors who will also be subject to the Terms and Conditions.

Additional Costs

Mingary Villas reserves the right to debit your credit card, or send you an invoice for any amounts outstanding or any extra charges for items such as cleaning, lost passes, excessive internet fees, damaged or stolen property.

Phone Charges

Local calls are provided at no charge. Mobile, STD and IDD access can be arranged for a fee of $25 if requested at least 14 days in advance. A 50% loading will be charged for all calls other than local calls.

Appliances and Repairs

We will endeavor to have any repairs to appliances attended to as soon as possible after the need for repair is reported to us. However, due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. having to order parts or non-availability of trades people) the immediate repair may be beyond our control. No responsibility is accepted by us for these unforeseen circumstances.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify both us and the owner against any liability, which may attach to the owner as a result of any damage, injury or loss suffered by any person where that damage, injury or loss has been caused by any act or omission on your part or the part of any person occupying the property with you.

Pets

Under no circumstances are pets permitted on or inside the property.

Personal Property

Neither us or the owner will accept liability for goods left behind after the letting. Goods will be held for up to 14 days and then disposed of. Should you require collection of goods from the property we will endeavor to assist within the normal cleaning timetable. Returns outside these times will incur a $50 fee plus postage.

Damage

All damage, breakages or losses to the property or its furniture and furnishings are to be reported to us and paid for at the end of the letting. Should you discover a defect or breakage when you arrive, please advise us or we will consider those to be your responsibility and charge you accordingly.
